British Airways #BA65 to Nairobi is returning to London Heathrow after an 8-hour flight. Following an incident at Khartoum International Airport, British Airways decided to cancel flight BA65 to Nairobi. Air France, KLM, British Airways & Brussels Airlines suspended flights over Sudan. British Airways flight operations asked the crew of the Airbus A350-1000 to turn around over Egypt.
The aircraft reg. (G-XWBB) was supposed to fly over Sudan to reach Nairobi in an 8-hour flight. Flight BA65 took off from London Heathrow almost one hour late at 11:05 (local time) and will arrive at London Heathrow about 8 hours later, the same scheduled flight duration.
