On November 8, 2024, flydubai and Batik Air Malaysia announced a strategic interline agreement aimed at enhancing global connectivity for travelers. This partnership allows passengers of both airlines to seamlessly explore a combined network of over 80 destinations worldwide, leveraging the strengths of each carrier's route map. The agreement facilitates travel between the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Malaysia, and beyond, offering a single booking convenience along with through-checked baggage, simplifying the travel experience for passengers.
flydubai customers will now have access to more than 40 destinations across Southeast Asia through Batik Air Malaysia's network, including key cities like Hanoi, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Osaka, and Sydney. Conversely, Batik Air Malaysia's passengers can explore flydubai's extensive network, which includes 38 destinations spanning Africa, Central Asia, the Caucasus, Central, and Southeast Europe, and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Middle East regions, offering routes to unique locations such as Entebbe, Istanbul, Milan-Bergamo, Prague, and Zagreb.

Since February 2024, flydubai has been serving Malaysia with daily flights to Langkawi and Penang, utilizing its fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft known for their efficiency and modern interiors. This service addition complements flydubai's broader network, which now operates flights to over 125 destinations across 55 countries, opening up new routes that previously lacked direct links to Dubai or the UAE. The interline agreement not only promises to streamline travel logistics but also aims to foster greater cultural and economic exchange between the regions served by both airlines.
