Etihad Airways Resumes Flights to Nairobi

Etihad Airways has confirmed the resumption of its flight service to Nairobi, Kenya, beginning December 15, 2024. The airline will operate four weekly nonstop flights between Abu Dhabi Zayed International Airport and Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Tickets for the eagerly anticipated route are now available for purchase.

The announcement marks a significant development for both Etihad Airways and passengers seeking travel options between the United Arab Emirates and Kenya. Lena Havia, Etihad's Vice President of Network and Scheduling, expressed the airline's enthusiasm for returning to Nairobi.

"We are delighted to resume flights between Abu Dhabi and Nairobi this winter," Havia stated. "We are grateful to the Kenyan and UAE authorities for their support in authorizing the resumption of flights and would like to thank our passengers for their patience and continued support." The decision to reintroduce the Nairobi route comes after a period of suspension, during which both Etihad Airways and the travel industry grappled with the challenges posed by the global pandemic.
