Ryanair Chief Meets Boeing Heads in Dublin to Press on Delays

Ryanair's CEO, Michael O'Leary, dialed up the pressure on Boeing by scheduling a meeting with company executives in Dublin. The talks aimed to address delays in aircraft deliveries, adding to the woes of the American planemaker.

This meeting comes amidst a deepening crisis for Boeing. The company has been grappling with prolonged delays in getting new planes to customers, threatening to disrupt Ryanair's busy summer schedule.

O'Leary, known for his combative style, also plans to discuss the certification status of the 737 MAX 10 aircraft and lingering concerns about Boeing's oversight practices following a recent incident with a new Alaska Airlines MAX 9.

While acknowledging the challenges of increased regulatory scrutiny on Boeing, O'Leary believes this is a necessary step for improvement. He expressed confidence that things will get better, but not before causing some headaches for Ryanair's summer plans. The budget airline is Boeing's biggest European customer, and the delays have the potential to significantly impact Ryanair's operations.

Endless Possibilities
