flynas expands capacity with arrival of two A320neos

During Ramadan this year, flynas has taken measures to meet the high demand by boosting its seat capacity by 25%. The airline will now be offering over 1.2 million seats for flights during the holy month, compared to the same period last year.

This increased capacity will cater to Umrah performers and visitors of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the holy month, ensuring an outstanding travel experience for all guests. To support this growth in demand, flynas has added two A320neo planes to its fleet, which recently arrived at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on March 07 and March 14.

With the addition of these planes, flynas' modern aircraft share in its fleet has further increased. The airline is set to receive six A320neo planes by 2024, as part of its strategic plan, "We Connect the World to the Kingdom." This expansion in fleet and increased seating capacity aligns with the objectives of the Pilgrims Experience Program (PEP) and the National Civil Aviation Strategy.

These initiatives aim to facilitate access to the Two Holy Mosques and enable national air carriers to connect KSA with 250 international destinations. The ultimate goal of these initiatives is to accommodate 330 million passengers and host 100 million tourists annually by 2030.
