Emirates Confirms An Order of 15 A350-900 Jets

Emirates has confirmed an order for an extra 15 A350-900s at the Dubai Airshow, bringing the total order to 65 planes. HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, expressed his satisfaction with the additional orders for the A350-900s, stating that they will diversify their fleet. He mentioned that these aircraft will be used to serve a variety of new markets, including long-haul missions of up to 15 hours flying time from Dubai. He emphasized their collaboration with Airbus and Rolls-Royce to ensure optimal operating efficiency and customer flying experience.

He further added that Emirates' orders are strategically planned to support their future growth and align with the Dubai economic vision set out by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He stressed that the Emirates experience is often the first visitor experience of Dubai, and they aim to make it the best.
