AirAsia Malaysia announced that it will be launching flights from Kuala Lumpur to Perth, Australia using its new Airbus A321neo aircraft. The first flight will depart on March 11, 2024, and will operate four times per week. The new route will be a significant boost for tourism between Malaysia and Australia. Perth is a popular destination for Malaysian travelers, who are attracted to its beaches, wineries, and wildlife.

The Airbus A321neo is a fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly aircraft that will help to reduce AirAsia’s carbon footprint. The aircraft also features a number of passenger-friendly amenities, including wider seats and more legroom.
