On September 7th, the annual Selangor Aviation Show was opened in the state of Selangor, Malaysia, and was attended by the state's first minister, Dato Amirudin Shari. The show is dedicated to business and general aviation, as well as helicopters, and serves as a regional networking platform for industry players to showcase the future of the aviation and aerospace industry.

The show plays a crucial role in providing a platform for aerospace industry players to network and explore potential investments and partnerships both globally and domestically, making Selangor the only business aviation show in the region.
More than 62% of all aerospace and aviation-related activities are located in and around Selangor, Malaysia, due to the presence of Subang International Airport (Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport), which has created an aerospace ecosystem that houses many aerospace and aviation brands from around the region. KL International Airport is another aerospace ecosystem, with Malaysia Airlines Engineering, Sepang Aircraft Engineering (an Airbus affiliate), and many others completing the ecosystem at KLIA.
The First Minister of Selangor toured the exhibition and static aircraft display area, networking with exhibitors and seeing some of the incredible aircraft on display for this year's show. The crowd was busy, with many visitors exploring the booths to discover the latest aviation trends. Exhibitors had much to showcase in terms of the latest developments in aviation, including aircraft such as Falcon 7X, Piaggio Avanti, Cessna Grand Caravan, Cessna Citation Longitude (Business Jet), Heli AS 555, Heli A335 F2, Gulfstream, and many more.
