INCIDENT | Vueling A320 Evacuated Following A Bird strike At Barcelona

A Vueling A320 aircraft (Reg. EC-JTR) was evacuated at Barcelona airport on July 16, 2023, after a bird strike during the takeoff of flight number VY-2212. The aircraft, which was en route to Sevilla (SVQ), was forced to abort its takeoff and return to the gate. The bird strike caused damage to the aircraft's engine, which led to a loss of power.
