EgyptAir Starts Nonstop Flights to Manchester from Cairo

EgyptAir, the national carrier of Egypt, has started nonstop flights to Manchester from Cairo. The new route, which launched on July 15, 2023, makes Manchester the only city in the UK outside London to have a direct link to Egypt's capital.

The flights will operate five times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The outbound flight, MS781, departs Cairo at 10:00 and arrives in Manchester at 13:30. The return flight, MS782, is scheduled to depart Manchester at 14:30 and arrive in Cairo at 21:35 PM. With a total duration of 5 hours and 30 minutes for outbound flights and 5 hours and 5 minutes for inbound flights. The launch of the new route is part of EgyptAir's ongoing expansion plans. The airline is also planning to launch new routes to Delhi, India, and Dhaka, Bangladesh, in the coming months.
