Iran Air will add a Monday flight to its existing Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday service between Tehran and London starting July 31. The new flight will be operated by an Airbus A330-243 aircraft with 206 economy seats and 32 business seats.
Iran Air faces more difficulties ahead due to sanctions placed on jet fuel and other aviation items due to Iran's foreign policy. However, the airline is still expanding its network and this new flight is a sign of its commitment to serving its customers.
Other airlines that use Imam Khomeini International Airport, Tehran's primary airport, include Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa, Emirates, and Turkish Airlines. The airport is well served by a 24-hour metro subway, taxis, and a highway.
