INCIDENT | Two Wizz Air A320s collided while on the ground in Romania

On 14th March, two Wizz Air Airbus A320s collided while on the ground at Suceava Airport in Romania. A Wizz Air Airbus A320 with registration number 9H-WBV was departing from Suceava Airport bound for Dortmund, Germany. However, during taxiing, the aircraft’s left winglet collided with the right stabilizer of another parked Airbus A320 with registration number HA-LWZ from the same airline. Wizz Air flight W64692 was due to be operated by 9H-WBV, which belongs to the carrier’s Maltese subsidiary. H-WBV was just transferred over to the Maltese subsidiary of the carrier last month.
