The partnership focuses on incorporating Alta Ares' innovative solutions, including the Black Bird medium-range interceptor for high-speed targets like cruise missiles and the X-Lock short-range system designed specifically for drone threats. Airbus will integrate these AI-driven interceptors and software into its Fortion IBMS battle management suite and SAMOC operations centre, creating a seamless sensor-to-shooter chain.
