A Flydubai Boeing 737 MAX9 was stuck on the runway for more than 2 hours following a multiple tire bursts incident. Flight #FZ1559 from Dubai to Male, Maldives suffered multiple tire bursts on landing runway 36. The Boeing 737MAX9 (reg. A6-FNC) became stuck on the runway for some time forcing the closure of the airport.
The runway was closed for over two hours forcing Emirates and Qatar flights to hold while four other flights were forced to divert.
