IGA Istanbul Airport in Turkey won the Airport of the Year title at the Air Transport Awards again in 2023 after winning in 2021 and 2022. The 14 aviation-related categories of the Air Transport Awards include prizes given to people, organizations, and businesses that advance the sector. More than 4,000 readers and aviation executives of Air Transport News participated in the voting process, which decided the winners.
Airports Council International (ACI), the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), and the International Air Transport Association are among the aviation groups represented on the selection committee (IATA). Hermes - Air Transport Organization and ATN collaborated to host the Air Transport Awards celebration (Air Transport News).
