In Thursday’s announcement, Peach Aviation Limited’s CEO, Takeaki Mori, said,

“This is the middle-haul international route that everyone has been waiting for!  With the introduction of the new Airbus A321LR, we were able to open the Osaka-Bangkok route.  This is the first route operated by a Japanese LCC, making Kansai and Thailand closer.  There are many ways to enjoy Thailand, such as visiting temples, enjoying interaction with local people at night markets, and taking your trip a bit further to relax on the beach.  By all means, get out of Japan and go out to find the charm that you can only experience in real life.  In addition, for many Thai people, Japan is an attractive destination that “they would like to visit,” and the Kansai area is always ranked among the top tourist destinations.  Since the flight from Bangkok departs late at night and arrives early in the morning, we would like you to feel free to come to Japan with Peach after work. and enjoy your Kansai tour to the fullest from the morning.”
