In Wednesday’s route announcement, Flair Airlines’ Chief Executive officer, Stephen Jones, said,

“We’re delighted to add an additional route to our network in Mexico.  We know that Canadians will be looking to beat the winter blues by escaping to the sandy beaches of Cancun, and we’ve added additional service to the airport to allow people to chase the sun affordably.  As we continue our growth in the Mexican market, we look forward to increasing frequencies on our routes and adding new destinations. We can’t wait to be a part of your next sunny vacation.

“We are thrilled to have secured gate availability at LAX’s spectacular new Tom Bradley International Terminal.  We are confident that our LAX service will resonate well with our customers and are looking forward to growing our capacity in the market starting this winter.

Flair is offering one-way fares between Cancun and Toronto (including taxes and fees) from CAD $109, and one-way fares from Edmonton and Vancouver to Los Angeles from CAD $99, including taxes and fees.

Flair Airlines is Canada’s only independent ultra-low-cost carrier (ULCC) and the company’s mission is to make travel accessible and affordable for all Canadians.  The airline operates a growing fleet of Next Generation Boeing 737-800s and 737-8s, and serves over 35 Canadian, U.S. and Mexican destinations.  The airline plans on growing their fleet to 50 aircraft by 2025.
