China's July air passenger traffic rebounded to 57.3 per cent of the 2019 level, the country's aviation regulator said on Thursday (Aug 18), as the airline industry slowly recovers from widespread COVID-19 lockdowns that paralysed travel demand.
Still, July passenger traffic was down 30.8 per cent from a year earlier, an official at the Civil Aviation Administration of China told an online press conference.
