A camera has captured the moment a plane with 126 passengers and 11 crew on board burst into flames when the landing gear failed, forcing it off the runway and crashing into a communications tower.
At least three passengers were injured when a plane caught fire after the landing gear collapsed when it touched down at an airport in the United States.
Red Air flight 203 operated by McDonnell Douglas MD-82 departed from the Dominican Republic and was arriving into Miami International Airport on Tuesday around 5:30pm when the plane's landing-gear collapsed, according to officials.
Footage showed the aircraft - which had 126 passengers and 11 crew members on board - travel along the runway as smoke poured from the back of the plane.
It reportedly tore through a communications tower and a small building before coming to a stop on a grassed area just off the runway.
