The General Manager of operator TAV Macedonia, Metin Batak, said, “This major investment has been completed after 62 days and included the renewal of the airport’s runway asphalt. At TAV, we are satisfied and confident that the successful completion of a project of this kind, for the first time since the runway reconstruction in 1996, will provide increased airport service quality. We would like to thank all parties and stakeholders since we truly appreciate their collaboration, support, and contribution”. Skopje Airport’s runway is 2.950 meters long and 45 meters wide.
