Roughly four hours into the journey, while maintaining a cruising altitude of 32,000 feet, the flight crew detected a mechanical issue requiring immediate attention. Prioritizing passenger safety, the flight deck crew descended the aircraft to 26,000 feet and established a holding pattern over the North Sea to coordinate procedures with regional air traffic control operators.

Upon assessing the situation, pilots requested permission to divert directly toward Manchester Airport in the United Kingdom. Aviation controllers quickly vectored the jet, allowing the aircrew to execute a routine approach and achieve a safe landing on Runway 23L at approximately 19:30 local time without further operational complications.
