Paris, June 20 - At the 55th Paris Air Show, which commenced on June 16, 2025, in Paris, France, China’s J-10CE fighter jet emerged as a focal point of international attention, drawing crowds to the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) exhibition booth. The sleek, advanced 4.5-generation multirole fighter, displayed as a large-scale model equipped with the cutting-edge PL-15E long-range air-to-air missile, captivated attendees with its modern design and proven combat capabilities. The event, one of the world’s largest aerospace trade fairs, provided a global stage for AVIC to showcase its technological advancements and underscore its commitment to fostering international collaboration in the aviation industry.

The J-10CE, an export variant of the J-10C, is a single-engine, single-seat aircraft designed for all-weather operations. It boasts exceptional maneuverability, state-of-the-art avionics, and a sophisticated fire-control radar system, enabling autonomous beyond-visual-range engagements and robust electronic warfare capabilities. Its integrated weaponry, including the PL-15E missile with a reported range of up to 145 kilometers, enhances its potency in both air-to-air and air-to-ground missions. The jet’s versatility is further demonstrated by its 11 hardpoints, which allow it to carry a diverse array of munitions, from precision-guided bombs to anti-ship missiles, making it adaptable for air superiority, ground attack, and maritime strike roles.
