easyJet Expands with 26 New Summer Routes Including First Sub-Saharan Africa Service

This strategic move marks a significant milestone for the airline as it ventures into new territories, aiming to cater to the growing demand for unique travel experiences. The highlight of the announcement is the introduction of flights to the island of Sal in Cape Verde, starting on March 31, 2025, from London Gatwick.

These flights will operate three times a week, offering travelers a gateway to the tropical Atlantic islands known for their beautiful beaches, vibrant culture, and year-round sunshine. easyJet holidays will also commence offering packages to Cape Verde, including flights, accommodations in various resorts, and local experiences, making it an attractive option for both sun-seekers and adventure enthusiasts. In addition to the African venture, easyJet's expansion includes a broad array of new destinations across Europe. Notable additions include:

- From Manchester: New routes to Izmir, Madrid, and Kalamata, enhancing the airline's connectivity to both popular and emerging holiday spots.

- From Birmingham: Flights to Gran Canaria and Malta, adding to the city's travel options for both leisure and business travelers.

- From Edinburgh: Services to Enfidha in Tunisia and Marrakesh, expanding easyJet's North African network from Scotland.

- From Glasgow: Connections to Antalya in Turkey and Reus in Spain, providing more choices for Scottish travelers looking to explore the Mediterranean.


- From Leeds Bradford: New services to Palma and Malaga, directly linking Yorkshire with two of Spain's prime holiday destinations.
