Concerns were heightened following a severe turbulence event on a Singapore Airlines flight in May, which resulted in fatalities and numerous injuries. To mitigate the risk of burn accidents, Korean Air will be replacing hot cup noodles with a variety of alternative snacks such as sandwiches, corn dogs, and hot pockets.
