This historic aircraft, a KC-130J Super Hercules tanker variant, was received by the U.S. Marine Corps Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 252, stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina. The Hercules family, known for its versatility and longevity, has been a mainstay of global airlift capabilities since its first flight in 1954. C-130s, in various configurations, serve in over 70 countries, performing diverse missions ranging from troop and cargo transport to medical evacuation and aerial refueling.
