The positive momentum was driven by robust demand across various aircraft families. Notably, Delta Air Lines placed a major order for 20 A350-1000 widebody jets, showcasing continued confidence in the fuel-efficient model. Furthermore, Airbus confirmed a previous commitment from the Dubai Airshow for 11 A350-900 aircraft, solidifying its presence in the key Middle Eastern market.
"These encouraging results demonstrate the resilience of our commercial aircraft business and the positive response to our product portfolio," said Guillaume Faury, Airbus Chief Executive Officer. "We are seeing recovery across all segments, with airlines returning to service more aircraft and gradually investing in fleet renewal and expansion."
