Emirates Expands Operations in Seoul with Additional Weekly Flights

Emirates, the leading international airline, is strengthening its ties with South Korea by increasing its operations in Seoul with an additional three weekly flights commencing on 19 February 2024. The new flights, designated as EK324/ EK325, will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. These flights will be serviced by a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. Flight EK324 will leave Dubai at 0445hrs and arrive at Seoul Incheon International Airport at 1805hrs. The return flight, EK325, will leave Seoul at 2200hrs and land in Dubai at 0315hrs the next day.

The augmented services from Emirates will add over 1,000 seats per week on the Dubai-Seoul route, addressing the pent-up demand for international travel to one of East Asia's top destinations and bolstering South Korea's tourism industry. The increased operations align with the robust bilateral ties between the UAE and Korea, fulfilling the need for more flights between the two countries.

The three weekly Boeing 777 flights will offer an extra 45 tonnes of cargo capacity between Dubai and Seoul. This will enhance the economic and trade relations between South Korea and the UAE, and extend to more worldwide destinations in the Emirates' network. This will further boost Korea's economy and provide efficient air connectivity for the country's import and export activities.

Emirates initiated its services to Seoul in 2005 and currently runs a daily Airbus A380 service from Dubai. With the added flights, Emirates will offer 10 weekly flights to Seoul, operated by a combination of its flagship Airbus A380 and Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. This ensures more flexibility and options for its customers traveling to and from Dubai, and further to its global network of over 130 destinations.
