SCAT Airlines Expend The Fleet With Order of Seven Boeing 737 Max Jets

Boeing and SCAT Airlines have recently made an agreement for the purchase of seven 737-8 airplanes to expand SCAT's current fleet, which includes 737 MAX. The airline intends to increase its number of 737s in order to open new routes and expand its network to European destinations. The deal took place at Dubai Airshow 2023.

Vladimir Denissov, president of JSC SCAT Airlines, stated that "SCAT Airlines is the most dynamically developing airline in Kazakhstan, and it has the largest aircraft fleet in the country".

Adding seven Boeing 737-8 airplanes to their fleet will increase their carrying capacity and help them execute flight schedules more efficiently. This order was previously undisclosed on the Boeing Orders & Deliveries website. SCAT currently operates three 737-8 and five 737-9 airplanes.

The 737 MAX family is renowned for its exceptional performance, lower operating costs, and additional range in the single-aisle market. The 737-8 can seat up to 210 passengers depending on configuration and has a range of up to 6,480 km (3,500 nautical miles). The 737-9 seats up to 220 passengers and has a range of up to 6,110 km (3,300 nautical miles).
