INCIDENT | Tragic Discovery at Boston Logan Airport: Young Woman Found Dead

In a shocking development, the body of a young woman was found in a car at Boston Logan Airport. The woman has been identified as Margaret "Maggie" Mbitu, who had been reported missing. The body of 30-year-old Margaret "Maggie" Mbitu was discovered in a car parked in the airport's central parking garage. Mbitu had been reported missing by her family on Monday. She was last seen leaving her job in Halifax on Monday night.

The Massachusetts State Police and the Suffolk County District Attorney's office are currently investigating the case. They are looking for Mbitu's partner, 40-year-old Kevin Kangethe, who is believed to have boarded a flight to Kenya from Boston. An arrest warrant has been issued for Kangethe, charging him with Mbitu's murder.

The discovery of Mbitu's body has sent shockwaves through the community. Her coworkers at BAMSI, a nonprofit based in Brockton where she worked, expressed their grief over her tragic death. They described her as warm, caring, and loved by everyone she worked with. The FBI has an international operations office in Kenya's capital of Nairobi. Former FBI special agent Jennifer Coffindaffer says it's likely agents are already communicating with local authorities to track down Kangethe and extradite him back to face his charges.

This tragic event underscores the importance of safety and security measures at airports. As the investigation continues, our thoughts are with the family and friends of Margaret "Maggie" Mbitu during this difficult time.
