Airbus, the European aerospace corporation, has once again demonstrated its robust performance in the aviation industry. In September 2023, the company confirmed the delivery of 55 aircraft, bringing the nine-month total to a staggering 488 jets.

A Successful Month
September proved to be a successful month for Airbus, with deliveries made to 34 customers. Among the deliveries was the first A350 for Air India, which was part of a batch of six originally sold to Russia’s Aeroflot. In addition to the impressive number of deliveries, Airbus also secured 23 new orders in September. These orders included 13 Airbus A321 aircraft from LATAM and an order for 10 Airbus A350 units. LATAM's order expanded their current order for the A321neo from Airbus, with even more aircraft on the way as the carrier has placed further orders for A320neo family jets with lessor AerCap. Turkish Airlines' order for 10 A350-900s demonstrates the carrier's growing preference for the Airbus widebody.
