Ryanair, Europe's largest airline by passenger volume, has recently announced its latest all-time traffic record achieved in August, which is typically the busiest month for the company.

The airline flew a staggering 18.9 million passengers in August, marking a 12% increase compared to the same month last year when it flew 16.9 million passengers. This also indicates a remarkable recovery for the airline as it has a significant growth from August 2019, just before the COVID-19 pandemic hit, when it flew 14.9 million passengers.
Ryanair achieved its previous record in July with 18.7 million passengers. The Irish airline has even more ambitious plans for the future. It expects traffic to grow by 9% in the financial year ending March 2024, which will bring the total number of passengers to around 183.5 million.
The airline is perceived as a "market share consolidator in Western Europe, with growth potential in Eastern Europe" by analysts at Citi, who reiterated a ‘buy’ rating for the airline following the release of the passenger data.
