STARLUX Airlines launches the Taipei-Clark route

STARLUX Airlines, a luxury carrier based in Taiwan, has reached a significant milestone by inaugurating its daily service between Taipei and Clark, which is its third destination in the Philippines. This means that travelers from North America can now easily fly from Los Angeles to Clark, which serves as the gateway to the northern Philippines and its amazing island tourist destinations, via Taipei. Currently, STARLUX offers flights to both Manila and Cebu in the Philippines.

According to the CEO of STARLUX, Glenn Chai, "Today is a significant milestone as we expand our service from Clark to Taipei, a route that we believe will increase our competitiveness in the North American market by significantly reducing travel time for passengers heading to the northern Philippines for family, leisure, or business." He added that Clark has tremendous business and tourism potential, offering a mix of fascinating history, a fast-growing economic center, breathtaking natural landscapes, and vibrant cultural experiences that will leave a lasting impression on every traveler who visits.

Aside from the convenience of this new route, STARLUX's premium in-flight service is expected to attract more business travelers seeking luxury and comfort. In 2022, the United States was the biggest market for international tourists traveling to the Philippines. Today, there are more than four million Filipinos in the U.S., which is its third-largest Asian group. Many Filipino Americans maintain strong familial and business ties to the Philippines and travel often to maintain these ties.
