Ryanair would face'mass cancellations' if Dublin Airport restricts night flights

Ryanair may face significant disruptions at Dublin Airport in the coming weeks due to potential flight cancellations. The Dublin Airport Authority has been instructed to reduce the number of "night flights" between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. to limit noise.

The DAA has called on the local council to suspend the order to avoid disruptions to passenger and cargo operations. However, if the order is not lifted within the next six weeks, Ryanair may have to cancel flights. CEO Michael O'Leary expressed concern that the first wave of departures in the morning would be the most affected.

He called on the government to intervene and limit the restriction period to between midnight and 6 a.m. to minimize the impact on passengers.
