A woman from Argentina passed away during a flight from Barcelona to Buenos Aires Ezeiza. The unfortunate incident occurred on July 28th, 2023, while the woman was traveling with her daughter and experienced a medical emergency mid-flight.

The flight, which was operated by LEVEL and flown on an Airbus A330-200 (reg. EC-NNH), was initially thought to be a panic attack, but the crew of the flight quickly initiated CPR maneuvers to assist the patient.
Sadly, upon arrival in Buenos Aires, it was discovered that the woman had already passed away. The captain of the aircraft informed the Ezeiza Control Tower about 40 minutes before landing that a passenger had passed away, and the appropriate protocols were followed upon landing.
