Qatar Airways' network grew to over 160 destinations, with operations resumed to thirteen destinations. The airline's strong financial results are attributed to passenger demand recovery and the ability to cater to this demand. Qatar Airways Group Chairman Saad Bin Sharida Al Kaabi emphasized the country's interconnectivity in the transportation sector. As of July 2023, Qatar Airways has a fleet of 260 aircraft, with plans to receive 191 additional planes in the coming years.

Qatar Airways is expected to receive 50 new Airbus A321neo, 20 A350-1000s, 25 Boeing 737 MAX 10s, two 777-200Fs, one 777-300ER, 34 Boeing 777-8Fs, 40 B777-9s, and 19 Boeing 787-9s. However, the airline has been critical of supply chain constraints, leading to delays in new plane deliveries.
