Qatar Airways' second Boeing 737 MAX enters service, with third delivered

On May 15, 2023, Qatar Airways began commercial operations with its second Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. The aircraft, registered as A7-BSE, flew the QR1070 route between Kuwait International Airport (KWI) and Doha Hamad International Airport (DOH). Since then, the aircraft has primarily flown to KWI, Sharjah International Airport (SHJ), and Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH), all in the United Arab Emirates.

Qatar Airways received its first Boeing 737 MAX on April 14, 2023. The aircraft, registered as A7-BSC, touched down at DOH and was put into service on May 9, 2023. It has also been flying to KWI and AUH. The airline received its third Boeing 737 MAX on May 19, 2023. The aircraft, registered as A7-BSB, took off from Everett Paine Field (PAE) in the United States and arrived at DOH. It will likely undergo familiarization training before being put into service.
