A firework balloon collided into the fuselage of an Azul Brazilian Airlines A320. On May 14, the jet was parked at Santos Dumont Airport in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In various parts of Brazil, fireworks balloons are released during the June Festivals (Festas Juninas). Although no injuries were recorded, firefighters were called in to put out the fire caused by the fireworks.
