Go First Airline extends flight cancellations till May 28

Go First had previously stated that it hoped to restart bookings soon. The airline is going through insolvency proceedings. The Go First airline extended its flight cancellations until May 28 due to a continuing financial problem on Thursday (May 25).

Previously, the suspension of flying operations had been declared until May 26 for operational reasons. The airline expressed optimism that it will be able to resume bookings soon. The airline is going through insolvency proceedings.

Go First formally announced its suspension of flying operations on May 3. Go First CEO Kaushik Khona has guaranteed staff that their April salaries will be credited prior to the company's resumption of operations. The airline has blamed its financial problems on engines manufactured by Raytheon-owned Pratt & Whitney.
