Following a suspension of service during the pandemic, Qatar Airways has stated that it will once again offer flights from Doha International Airport (DIA) to Birmingham Airport (BHX). Three days before the commencement of the Formula 1 British Grand Prix on July 9, 2023, the route will begin running daily on July 6, 2023, for the duration of the summer season. There will be 254 seat total on the journey, 22 in business class and 232 in economy class, aboard a Boeing 787-8 operated by Qatar Airways.

In a statement, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Akbar Al Baker stated, "The World's Greatest Airline continues to be committed to its English market and seeks to give customers the greatest travel alternatives possible. Qatar Airways announced in February 2023 that it will take Emirates' place as the next global airline partner of Formula One. The agreement is valid through 2027.
The Doha – Birmingham flights will operate on the following schedule.
- On Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays:
QR33 departs Doha at 08:05 local time, arriving in Birmingham at 13:15 local time.
- On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays:
QR35 departs Doha at 02:20 local time, arriving in Birmingham at 07:30 local time
Return flights will operate on the following schedule.
- Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays:
QR34 departs Birmingham at 14:45 local time, arriving in Doha at 23:40 local time.
- On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays:
QR36 departs Birmingham at 09:00 local time, arriving in Doha at 17:55 local time.
