The Egyptian national carrier, Egyptair, has announced the cancelation of its flight no. MS986 from New York to Cairo. Earlier, Egyptair flight no. MS985 from Cairo (CAI) to New York (JFK) was diverted to Washington airport, according to Egyptair statement.
Due to the closure of JFK's terminal 1, that expected to extend until Saturday, Egyptair will cancel flight MS985 and MS986 on Feb., 17th, 2023.
The airline has apologized to customers for the unexpected interruption for its service to New York. Currently, Egyptair serves only two destinations in the US, JFK and Dulles International, Washington DC.
Due to a technical malfunction at JFK Airport ,EGYPTAIR flight from and to New York will be canceled today, Friday.
