Lufthansa Warns customers of flight disruptions in holiday season


Through its social media accounts, the German national carrier has warned its customers of flight disruptions in two airports.

While approaching the high season of travel worldwide, Lufthansa issued a warning to customers that they might experience some "disruptions" in airports of Munich and Frankfurt due to sever weather and heavy traffic. 

The airline also said the disruptions occurred in the past few days in the two airports due to the above mentioned reasons.

"With the peak of holiday period, more flights and passengers may be affected." said the airline. 

The airline added that they are doing their best to connect its customers with there loved ones with as little "inconvenience" as possible. 

Lufthansa provided a link for customers to get helpful information about disruptions and submit any claims for any disruptions that might occur.

Disruptions are expected in some other European airports, but due to other different reasons. London's Heathrow is expected to experience disruptions due to UK Border Force workers planning a strike for eight days this month in a dispute over pay.
