Beginning on November 15, 2022, Emirates will begin using its flagship A380 aircraft on the route between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Narita International Airport (NRT).

Japan declared in September 2022 that it would remove its COVID-19 travel restrictions as of October 11, 2022, making it simpler for visitors and travelers to enter the country.
EK318 will depart Dubai at 02:55 local time and arrive in Narita at 17:20 local time.
