United Airlines Boeing 767 loses part of fuselage panel


Part of an underside fuselage panel was ripped from a United Airlines Boeing 767 aircraft during a flight between New York and Dublin on August 26, 2022, according to Aviation Herald. 

The Boeing 767-400 aircraft, registered as N76064, was performing flight UA23 from New York Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to Dublin Airport (DUB), when the aircraft lost part of the fuselage panel.  

While the flight crew landed safely in Dublin, the return flight to New York was canceled, according to Flightradar24.com data.

"We’ve informed investigators in Ireland and the U.S. and will work with them to better understand what happened," a United Airlines spokesperson told in an emailed statement.
