ROUTES | Norse Atlantic Airways Celebrates Inaugural Service Between London Gatwick and New York JFK


Norse Atlantic Airways has today launched their inaugural flight between London Gatwick and New York-JFK.  Additionally, the carrier has launched service between London Gatwick and Oslo, allowing seamless one-stop service between Oslo and New York via London.

On Friday (August 12, 2022), Norse Atlantic Airways announced the launch of inaugural service between London Gatwick (LGW) and New York (JFK), as well as service between Oslo and London Gatwick, facilitating seamless one-stop connections from Oslo to New York via London.  The new daily late morning flights between Oslo and London Gatwick are operated with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners featuring Premium and Economy Class cabins, with return fares from only £74 including taxes.  The London-Oslo service will also allow UK travelers to conveniently connect via Oslo to Fort Lauderdale, Orlando and Los Angeles.  For the remainder of the summer 2022 schedule, return fares between London Gatwick and New York-JFK start from £357 including taxes.

In Friday’s announcment, Norse Atlantic Airways’ CEO, Bjørn Tore Larsen, said,

Norse Atlantic’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners are configured with Economy and Premium cabins, and customers can choose between Light, Classic and Plus fares.  Light fares represent the best value, while Plus fares include the maximum baggage allowance, two meal services and an enhanced airport and onboard experience and added ticket flexibility.  Each seat is equipped with a state-of-the art inflight entertainment (IFE) experience, and Premium cabin seats feature a generous 43-inch seat pitch and a comfortable 12-inch recline.
