Cebu Pacific will ramp-up flights between Cebu and Seoul from, twice-daily to daily service starting September 9, 2022. CEB also currently serves 20 domestic destinations in the Philippines from Cebu.
On Wednesday (August 17, 2022), Cebu Pacific (CEB) announced that they will expand service between Cebu and Seoul, South Korea from twice-weekly to daily service starting September 9, 2022. Flight 5J128 will depart Mactan Cebu International Airport at 12:25 and arrive in Seoul at 18:10. The return flight, 5J 129, will depart Seoul at 18:55 and will arrive in Cebu at 22:50 (all times local). In addition to international service, CEB currently offers service from Cebu to 22 domestic destinations in the Philippines including Bacolod, Boracay, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calbayog, Camiguin, Clark, Coron, Davao, Dipolog, Dumaguete, General Santos, Iloilo, Legazpi, Manila, Ozamiz, Pagadian, Puerto Princesa, Siargao, Surigao, Tacloban, and Zamboanga.
In Wednesday’s announcement, Cebu Pacific’s Corporate Communications Director, Carmina Reyes-Romero, said,
“These additional flights will enable more passengers from VisMin to fly to South Korea any day of the week so they may finally make their travel dreams a reality. This ramp-up just two months after the route is a testament to our commitment to everyJuan and reflects the travel demand amongst Filipinos and foreigners. With our extensive domestic network in and out of Cebu, we are happy to provide more flight connections to our passengers. We hope this encourages everyJuan to fly more and travel international for less via Cebu Pacific.”
Fully-vaccinated travelers flying to Seoul will be required to bring their negative COVID-19 test result taken within 48 hours before departure, a valid vaccination certificate, and a completed foreigner registration card.
Cebu Pacific (CEB) currently operates the widest domestic network in the Philippines with 34 destinations, along with 18 international destinations. CEB operates one of the youngest fleets in the world with 75 aircraft, including 22 Airbus A320ceos, six A320neos, seven A321ceos, 10 A321neos, six A330ceos, two A330neos, 14 ATR 72-600s, six ATR 72-500s and two dedicated ATR freighters.
