Egyptair Warns Customers About Flight Cancellations To And From Heathrow Airport


As Heathrow airport working on reducing capacity of number of passengers due to the lack of labour, the Egyptian national carrier - Egyptair - issued a statement to announce the cancellation of two of its flights to and from the British capital airport.

Egyptair announced that flights MS779 from Cairo International Airport (CAI) to Heathrow International Airport (LHR), on July 14th, and flight MS780 dated the same date, are being cancelled. The cancellation came based on instructions issued by Heathrow Airport to all carriers operating flight from and to the airport to reduce daily capacity of passengers. read more.

In its Facebook page, Egyptair warned customers, who made bookings on the above mentioned flights to contact the carrier's hotline or contact their nearest Egyptair office or contact travel agents. 

Earlier, on the 2nd of July, Egyptair, through its Facebook page, warned that flights to and from Amsterdam will be reduced from the July 7th until July 31st due to instructions from Amsterdam Schipol to all airlines operating flights from the airport by reducing and limiting daily operating capacity for all airlines in numbers of travelling passengers including Egyptair.

 

In the statement, the Egyptian carrier apologized for customers traveling from Amsterdam to Cairo for rerouting some reservations traveling between 7th and 31st of July due to this "force majeur" that is beyond the control of Egyptair.
