After 45 days of work, the Northern Runway Rehabilitation programme is now complete.
From April 9 until June 22, the Northern runway was out of service for refurbishment.
Dubai airport is back to a dual-runway operation.
The last time that the Northern runway was refurbished as extensively as this year was in 2014.
In 2019, the 45-day runway closure again forced Emirates to reduce its flight schedule and capacity by 25 percent.
