EgyptAir celebrates its 90th anniversary

EgyptAir celebrated its 90th anniversary this week with its customers travelling on its flights by providing gifts and promotional materials, as well as extra weight and free miles in the frequent flyer programme.

The national carrier also distributed many free travel tickets and granting free miles in the EgyptAir Plus frequent flyer programme, as well as upgrading many customers from economy class to business class.

EgyptAir has launched an advertising campaign to celebrate the 90th anniversary on the company's official pages on social media and on board its aircraft, where the 90th anniversary logo is placed on seats headrests during May.

Amr Abu El-Enein, chairman and CEO of EgyptAir Holding Company, said: EgyptAir has been a pioneer in Africa as it is the first airline in the Middle East and Africa. It contributed in serving the national efforts and directions to raise Egypt’s flag and achieved the aspirations of the Egyptians, so it deserved the title of the National Carrier of Egypt.”
