EgyptAir to operate a new route to "Dublin", Ireland

EgyptAir, the national carrier of the Arab Republic of Egypt and a member of the global Star Alliance, announced the operation of a new air route to the Irish city of "Dublin" as of June 2, 2022.

This comes within the framework of the directives of the Ministry of Civil Aviation to open new markets linking Egypt and various countries of the world through Cairo's hub airport, and EgyptAir's strategy to expand its network.

Pilot Amr Abu Al-Ainin, head of the holding company for EgyptAir, stated, "It was decided to operate the new route between Cairo and Dublin at a rate of 4 flights per week on Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays and Tuesdays, using the latest new models that joined the national company's fleet recently, which is the Airbus A320neo model, which includes 142 seats, including 16 seats in business class, and 126 in economy class.

"Despite the repercussions of the Corona pandemic and its effects on the global air transport industry, the national company is continuing to implement its future plans in expanding the network of lines, increasing the air fleet, and upgrading the level of services provided to travelers on EgyptAir Airlines' flights, as well as to the company's customers from industry partners contracted with EgyptAir to obtain air freight services, maintenance, technical works, air and ground services, and others.” Abu Al-Enein added
