Jakarta, April 25 - Emirates, the Dubai-based global aviation leader, unveiled its innovative Travel Store in Jakarta, Indonesia, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to enhancing customer experiences in Southeast Asia. Located in the prestigious Sequis Tower within Jakarta’s bustling business district, the 221-square-meter retail space was inaugurated by Orhan Abbas, Emirates’ Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations for the Far East, alongside H.E. Abdulla Salem AlDhaheri, the UAE Ambassador to Indonesia. The event, attended by trade partners, dignitaries, and media, underscored the airline’s deep ties with Indonesia, a market it has served for over three decades. This opening follows the successful launches of similar experiential stores in Hong Kong and Manila, reflecting Emirates’ strategic focus on retail innovation and personalized service in the region.

Designed to embody modern luxury, the store features a warm, lounge-like atmosphere with soft beige tones, sleek furnishings, and comfortable sofas, creating an inviting space for customers to plan their journeys. At the heart of the store, four dedicated customer service counters are staffed by trained travel advisors who provide personalized assistance with flight bookings, ticketing, and inquiries about Emirates’ extensive network of over 140 destinations across six continents. The store also showcases a curated selection of Emirates-branded merchandise, including aircraft models and exclusive travel accessories, allowing visitors to engage with the brand beyond the booking process.

A standout feature of the Jakarta store is its integration of smart technology to elevate the customer experience. A voice-activated LED selfie screen near the entrance invites guests to capture photos against digital backdrops of iconic Emirates destinations, with images accessible via QR codes for a seamless, eco-friendly keepsake. Additionally, a wall-mounted display of the UAE’s national Ghaf tree, symbolizing strength and heritage, sits above a dynamic LED screen highlighting Emirates’ global network, milestones, and exclusive offers.
